As a matter of fact one of my most popular desserts is a chocolate tort that is made with tofu, people are always so shocked when I tell them what its made with.

  • Tofu can be really great, but it can also be pretty dull. There's a great little restaurant around the corner from my house (Eiji, in San Francisco) that makes their own tofu to order, and it comes as a bowl of fresh, hot, silky curds in broth (oboro tofu) that you then eat with various condiments. That's pretty tasty. But I'm curious to hear people's preferred ways of preparation. Recipes, anyone?
