The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) maintains a World Heritage List of sites considered to have "outstanding universal value" as part of the natural and cultural heritage of all humanity. The US boasts 20 of these sites. How many have YOU visited?

La Fortaleza and San Juan National Historic site are listed together on the UNESCO list, but separately here for convenience, as are Monticello and the University of Virginia. The Kluane-Wrangell-St. Elias-Glacier Bay-Tatshenshini-Alsek and Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park sites are shared between the US and Canada.
