Insanely overrated, bad service by young; uneducated staff who are more interested in their Prada uniforms than the concept of "service". I spent a week in the Raymond Hood suite and the thugs in suits at the lifts still didn't recognise me and I had to show my keycard EVERY TIME I had to go to my room. No breakfast restaurant at the hotel, but a very popular bar (too cool for its own good, meaning even hotel guests find it difficult to get served). Typical example of the design/boutique hotel where they've given a local carpenter a gig and asked somebody to cover furniture in purple leather thinking that somehow makes it "cool". It's not! This is a hotel that doesn't care about its guests, as long as the staff think it's a cool place to work they'll be happy. Give this hotel a wide berth. Disregard this advice at your own peril.

The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel: A few years ago my niece had her dance recital in this hotel

A few years ago my niece had her dance recital in this hotel.
