The Bacon Challenge

Take raw scallop and wrap it with single piece of bacon secured with a toothpick through the entire creation. Prepare as normal. Sometimes the bacon strip is shortened to accommodate a single wrap around small scallop, other times it is double wrapped for the bacon lover.

Often prepared separately and then combined at serving time. The real challenge is is devising a method of cooking that causes the bacon and beans to cook together simultaneously and therefore co-mingle flavors.
