Cirque du Soleil

Saw this in 2009 when I visited Vegas. It was my first Cirque show and was about as good as I expected it out be -- average. The acrobatics are definitely impressive and fun to watch. I'm just in awe of the budget these guys have to put on such a huge production that sells out all the time and has run for many years. I'd like to see one more Cirque show just to get an idea of how different they are (I really want to see O, but that one wasn't on the 1/2 price discount ticket availability.) There was one number in this that involved lots of poles and men with face masks on the back of their heads and I thought from an artistic standpoint that was the most interesting and visually beautiful number. However, the tricks got old after a while... maybe if water (ala O) was involved it would stay fresh.
