it is a beautiful monument to what was a tragic end from the list Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.
it is a beautiful monument to what was a tragic end. it is built around the Lorraine hotel in Memphis where Dr. King was fatally shot. They have done a terrific job of creating an understanding of how he unified people. There is also the "bus" exhibit to help visitors understand Rosa Parks and the strength she had that day as well as a wonderful tribute on the first floor to all of the African American baseball players. If you are in Memphis -- this is a must-do (and of course, Graceland).
