Watching this film, one understands why Heath Ledger might have "accidentally" overdosed on sleep meds. Anyone playing The Joker that well must be going a little crazy at the time.
So I saw the opening night midnight (12:05am to be exact) showing of this film since it was my friend's birthday and she wanted to go see it. I wouldn't normally see a Batman movie in the theatre (though for some reason I saw Batman Begins in the theatre... and all I can remember of it is Katie Holmes' suit). Anyway...
This film was awesome. Heath Ledger really was as good as everyone says. Hilariously evil. It was an interesting film through and through that had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Lots of twists and turns.
It was fun to be at the opening night show, too, with the audience all applauding for cool effects. All in all, totally worth the price of admission and then some. It's just so sad that watching this, part of you is thinking about Heath Ledger and how he died shortly after filming these scenes.
